NANGA PARBAT RESCUE AUGUST 2005

 

 

 

Lieutenant-Colonel Rashid ULLAH BAIG, who lead the rescue mission is seen with Tomaz HUMAR, the co-pilot Major KHALID, and their maintenance Crew Chief in front of their beloved Lama 697. Altitude at which the rescue has been performed is now confirmed at 22,300 ft.
