PERSONNEL

 

We met Capitaine Eric ESPINAL, the Section of Lyon's commandant, and Marechal des Logis-Chef Alain CAVALLO, engineer in early July 2005. Both fellow professionals have since been transfered to Ecureuil equipped units : Eric ESPINAL in Martinique and Alain CAVALLO at Egletons. SAG Lyon was temporarily equiped with SA319B Alouette III's F-MJBL MSN 2009, F-MJBN MSN 2033 and F-MJBQ MSN 1956 due to the replacement of the Alouettes by EC145 in mountain units (DAG Chamonix et DAG Modane) in 2004. Taking the opportunity of simultaneous presence of two Securite Civile's SA316B Alouette III's (F-ZBAN MSN 1115 and F-ZBAW MSN 2306) that were also based at Lyon-Bron, Alain CAVALLO took this serie of pictures of that unique event.

An Ecureuil and F-MJBX SA316B Alouette III (MSN 1693) were allocated to SAG of Lyon in July 2005. This last helicopter was used for various kind of missions including emergency medical service. These picture series have been taken by Pierre GILLARD.
