French Television Production Company ( SFP ) was hiring an Alouette III from the company Heli-Union to cover the bicycle race "Tour de France". This helicopter was equiped with a right side mounted camera as well as relay equipment for TV picture, sound and intercom downlinks. SA316B F-GBDO ( 5373 ) was hired in 1982 when the more powerful SA319B F-BVRQ ( 1991 ) was on duty for the 1983 edition. This serie of slides has been taken by Pierre GILLARD at Morzine, Haute-Savoie.
